More Alignment Studs and Holes

I am using this as a checklist to get all my waterfowl in a line

  • Pipe – Steam in Starboard. Changed the diameter of the alignment stud from 2.28mm to 1.59mm diameter and made it 2 mm long. That 2.28 mm created to fit the 2.28 mm hole in the block … which was just eyeballed in from the boss diameter the stud fits into. The 1.59 mm diameter is 1/16″ meaning I can use that drill to ream the hole.
  • Pipe – Steam in Port .. same as for the Starboard pipe. Making all the pins 2mm in length simplifies things as I can then make all the matching holes 2.1 mm deep .. cuts back on frustration.
  • Block – changed the hole diameter to 2.28 mm .. insured they holes had a 2.1 mm depth. Not really necessary for the block and the two steam in pipes as the ones printed should work fine .. but checking the blocks. I also made the Eduction pipe hole 2. mm deep.
  • Pipe – Low to Intermediate cylinders). Was 2 mm diameter .. changed it and holes in block to 1.59 mm.
  • Condenser – Last night I modified the condenser so the water-in was concentric with the condense-out connection. Changed those connections from a stud to a hole as there was plenty of “meat” for that. Those two and the water-out connection were all changed to 1.59 mm. Double-checked that the alignment pins on the bottom were 3.572 mm diameter – matching hole is 9/32″ .. check for matching hole ream-able by a drill bit. Modified the coupling to the pumps to fit a coupling.
  • Pipe – Water-Out. Changed connector to condenser to a 1.59 mm pin. Double-checked that pin was 2 mm and matching hole in condenser 2.1 mm.
  • Bed – Double-checked that holes for Evergreen 3/16″ tubing were 4.762 mm / 3/16″.
  • Pumps – reworked the pump last night to align the outlets to those on the condenser. Double-checked that the alignment pins on base are 3.572 mm diameter .. 9/32″. Modified the pump connectors facing the condenser to fit a coupling.
